The court granted the remand of the ‘top terrorist’ of Salimpur’s jungle in Sitakunda and the self-proclaimed king of Alinagar, Yasin Mia.
On Monday afternoon, Chittagong Senior Judicial Magistrate Court Judge Mohammad Abdullah granted terrorist Yasin’s three-day remand.
Sitakunda Model Police Station Sub-Inspector Mohammad Haroon said that Yasin was arrested on July 18 in the case of beating up a UP member by taking down the administration vehicle from the fleet. Later, the police applied for a 10-day remand in the Chittagong Senior Judicial Magistrate Court.
The sub-inspector also said that Yachin with his army occupied 3 thousand 100 acres of hills and Khas land of jungle Salimpur and built a kingdom called Alinagar. There are more than 8 cases against him in the police station including weapons, missing, sabotage. He is being remanded in a case.
