Before this, on August 7, a writ was filed seeking a ban on the construction of a temporary shed for storing household waste in Sheorapara area of ​​Dhaka. Local resident lawyer. 10 people including Jasim Uddin filed the writ. The report published in the media in this regard has also been attached to the writ petition. It is stated in the writ petition that the street width of the lane is less. Somehow a private car can run. If waste transport vans and big vehicles ply on that road to transport garbage from Bhagar, the road will become impassable for local residents and public. In addition, children and the elderly exercise by walking and running in the morning and evening. It won’t even be possible to do that if Bhagad is turned on.

On the other hand, according to reports published in the media, the residents of Youth Tower Alley in East Sheorapara area of ​​the capital have objected to the construction of a temporary Bhagad or Secondary Transfer Station (STS) for storing household waste. The local residents have also written a request to the mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) and the local councilor of Ward No. 14 to stop the construction of Bhagar. In the application made to the mayor and ward councillor, it is said on behalf of the local residents that the residential area is within four meters of the under-construction Bhagar. Another private school is nearby. So if a shanty is constructed there, the foul smell from the rotting waste will disturb the living environment. Which poses a serious threat to the environment and public health.
