Death toll rises to 11 in explosion at fireworks warehouse in Armenia shopping mall Russian news agencies reported that a part of the market building collapsed and at least 62 others were injured in the incident in the capital Yerevan on Sunday.
Armenia’s emergency affairs ministry said on Tuesday that three people were initially reported dead, but rescuers later recovered more bodies from the scene.
The Emergencies Ministry said there were two major explosions in the fireworks warehouse.
The Ministry of Health of Armenia said that the injured are being treated at the hospital.
It is not yet known what caused the explosion in the warehouse.
