The Central Intelligence Agency (FBI) has found 11 sets of top secret documents after searching the Florida home of former US President Donald Trump.

Trump said that he did not commit any crime regarding these seized documents. Documents are confidential and secure. BBC news.

According to the BBC report, the operation was carried out to retrieve documents from the former president’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach. The US Department of Justice asked a judge last Thursday to release the contents of the search warrant. Based on that warrant, the FBI searched Mar-a-Lago last Monday. Nothing has been officially said about this warrant.

But US media say they have seen the warrant. Republican Party leader Donald Trump sees the search operation as political revenge.

The Wall Street Journal reported that among the items recovered by the FBI from Trump’s home were 20 boxes, photo binders and a letter written on behalf of Roger Stone, a longtime Trump ally and political consultant. Apart from this, a document written about the ‘President of France’ has been recovered. However, it is not clear what the document says.

The report further states that the documents have been separated into several categories. As seen in a list, one of these is reserved for ‘TS/SCI’ or Top Secret/Sensitive Information. That could cause ‘extremely serious’ damage to US security. The list also includes ‘four sets of top secret documents’, ‘three sets of secret documents’ and three sets of ‘confidential’ documents. No more details were given about the recovered documents.

In a statement on the Truth social platform, Trump said the recovered items were “all declassified” and stored safely. He would hand over the items before the search warrant was executed. They could get it anytime they wanted.
