The film of two Bollywood stars Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar is going to be released on August 11. Akshay Kumar starrer Rakshabandhan and Aamir Khan starrer Lal Singh Chadda are expected to do well. Advance ticket booking has already started for the two movies.
However, Aamir Khan’s ‘Lal Singh Chadha’ is ahead in terms of bookings. Already the advance tickets of the film have been sold to the tune of Rs 8 crore. On the other hand, ‘Rakshabandhan’ has sold advance tickets worth Rs 3 crore. However, since the release week of the two films falls on ‘Raksha Bandhan’ and India’s ‘Independence Day’ holiday, movie analysts expect ticket sales to increase that week.
Lal Singh Chadha is a Hindi remake of Hollywood movie Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor, Mona Singh, Naga Chaitanya and others.
