Director of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (former joint head) accused of acquiring illegal wealth. The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) filed a case against Sazzadul Islam. Assistant Director of ACC Head Office on Thursday. Saiful Islam filed the case at the Commission’s Integrated District Office, Dhaka-1, as the plaintiff.

The affidavit has accused him of acquiring assets of Rs 75 lakh 59 thousand 111 inconsistent with the declared income. He has committed an offense punishable under Section 27(1) of the ACC Act-2004 by acquiring and possessing wealth beyond the known income.

Case against former MD of International Leasing : On the same day, another case was filed against Rashedul Haque, former MD of International Leasing and Finance Services Ltd. Assistant Director of ACC Head Office. Ruhul Amin filed the case in the integrated district office of the commission, Dhaka-1, as the plaintiff.

In the affidavit, he has been accused of obtaining assets outside of known income amounting to Rs. He has committed an offense punishable under Section 26(2) and 27(1) of the ACC Act-2004.
