In order to save electricity, classes may be held 5 days a week in the new curriculum next year, said Education Minister Dr. Deepu Moni. He said this in response to questions from journalists at Chandpur Circuit House on Monday afternoon.
He said, ‘In the initiatives taken to save electricity, if we make the classes in educational institutions 5 days from now, then we will get a chance to save one day. That is, the number of vehicles used to bring and take students to school in the city will be saved. However, it has not been decided yet, I am going to make a decision.
He further said, ‘But we want to rearrange the classes within the 5 days. So that the students do not face any kind of problem. Apart from this, the plan has been finalized to meet the shortfall during the Corona period.
