Imranur Rahman, the fastest man of Bangladesh, reached the semifinals of the 100m sprint of the Islamic Solidarity Games in Konya, Turkey.
According to Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) sources, he secured semis in the fifth edition of the Solidarity Games with a time of 10.01 seconds in the heat, which is Imranur’s personal best timing. He finished second in heat four of the event. Ivory Coast’s Jiu Seyse was first in his heat with a time of 9.78 seconds.
Imranur broke his own national record by running 10.47 seconds at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games. He broke that record in Turkey in just a few weeks. He will run in the semi this afternoon.
