Advocate Jahangir Kabir Nanak, a member of the presidium of the ruling Awami League and former state minister, said that we can see hundred percent of Bangabandhu’s worker-friendly qualities in Begum Mujib. He was the happy and sad companion of the party workers. Whether he was a political activist or an ordinary low-class man, no one sought his help and never returned empty-handed.

He said this at the distribution of sewing machines among helpless and distressed women on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Bangamata Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib at the central office of Awami League on Bangabandhu Avenue on Monday. Bangladesh Mahila Awami League organized the event.

Nanak said that behind Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s long-term commitment and strong conviction to achieve the rights of the Bengali nation, Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib played a hidden role. From time to time, the colorful time of the father of the nation, the time in prison or the time of the turbulent student life, if you dissect all the political and non-political daily life, the all-powerful role of Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib will come out.

He said, the contribution of the woman who made Khoka to Mujib, Mujib to Bangabandhu and finally Bangabandhu to become the father of the nation is undeniable, she is none other than our Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnecha Mujib. Bangabandhu spent his entire life in the service of the people, for the welfare of the country, with determination and dreamy courage to move the country forward. The name associated with that courage is Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib. In Bangabandhu’s march of courage, he repeatedly uttered a name in a determined tone, Bangabandhu’s name is Renu, our Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib. Bangabandhu was a man of love for people. He loved the activists to the core.

Nanak said that during the riots in 1946, Begum Mujib did not prevent Bangabandhu from going to the riot-affected areas even though she was sick. At that time, Begum Mujib wrote in a letter to Bangabandhu, ‘You were born not only to be my husband, but also to work for the country. Country work is your greatest work. You go to work with confidence. don’t worry about me Leave my burden on Allah.’ This is how he gave his life. He left with everyone. Bangmata is still a memorable figure even after her death in the brutal massacre of August 15, 1975. It is our responsibility to present his self-sacrificing contribution to future generations.

In the meeting, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that Bangabandhu brought independence to the country. Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib was a source of inspiration for Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. In happiness and sadness, he always inspired from the side. Bangabandhu did politics for the people of the country and Begum Mujib’s activities were also for the people of this country. He was by Bangabandhu’s side like a shadow. In the absence of Bangabandhu, he gave various directions to the party leaders.

Mahila Awami League president Safia Khatun chaired the discussion meeting moderated by general secretary Mahmuda Begum, the central leaders of the organization spoke.
