Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Tajul Islam said, the noble woman Bangmata Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib was the source of all inspiration, encouragement and enthusiasm of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
He said this while speaking as the chief guest at a discussion meeting and prayer meeting organized by the local government department at LGED Bhawan in Agargaon of the capital on the occasion of the 92nd birth anniversary of Bangamata Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib.
The minister said that Bangabandhu was never disturbed in fulfilling his duties despite various adversities as Bangamata always provided support and encouragement to the father of the nation. Bangamata gave courage from the side like a shadow in the struggle and movement of Bangabandhu throughout his life. Due to which we got independent-sovereign Bangladesh.
Local Government Department Secretary Mezbah Uddin Chowdhury chaired the event, Chief Engineer of LGED Sheikh Mohammad Mohsin, Chief Engineer of Directorate of Public Health Engineering Saifur Rahman, Director General of National Institute of Local Government Saleh Ahmad Mozaffar spoke. At that time, senior officials of the local government department and various departments and organizations under its jurisdiction were present.
