Mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation. Atiqul Islam and Dhaka South City Corporation Mayor Sheikh Fazle Noor are getting the status of Tapas Minister. Apart from this, Chittagong City Corporation Mayor Md. Rezaul Karim Chowdhury and Mayor of Narayanganj City Corporation Selina Hayat Ivy are getting the status of every minister.
This information was informed in a letter from the Prime Minister’s office on Sunday regarding the appointment of the honorable mayors of Dhaka North and South City Corporation and Narayanganj and Chittagong City Corporation.
According to the letter, Hon’ble Prime Minister has given his approval regarding the appointment of the elected Mayors of the City Corporation. In this situation , the mayors are requested to take necessary measures after publication of the gazette by giving the rank mentioned next to their respective names.
