Students of Barendra University’s CSE Department stood second in the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) CSE Fest Hackathon 2022.
BUET announced the results of the contestants who participated in the fest last Monday. In the result, the team Decentralized Brains of CSE department of Barendra University won the second place behind thousands of participants from different universities of the country.
Earlier, the Decentralized Brains team of the CSE department of Barendra University participated in the 24-hour hackathon organized on the occasion of BUET’s CSE Fest-2022 on August 4 and 5. A total of 45 teams in 3 categories are given the opportunity to participate in this hackathon, which is open to all universities in the country.
After the preliminary selection round, only 15 teams were given a chance in the Web3 & Blockchain category. In which Decentralized Brains was participated by Humaid Qureshi, Mohammad Rakib and Mohd. Khalid Shakib
In the Decentralized Brains competition, contestants are given 24 hours to develop an online certificate issuance and verification project with various features of a decentralized network considering the issues of Web 2.0 using blockchain technology. Then they won the second place as a result of this competition.
