On Monday, he received the treatment for free in the ground of Gimadanga Tungipara Government Primary School next to his house. Thousands of marginalized men and women like him got free medical care there. Bangladesh Police Women Welfare Association (PUNAK) organized this free medical camp on the occasion of 92nd birth anniversary of Bangmata Begum Sheikh Fazilatun Nescha Mujib.

Zaheda Begum told Samakal that the government hospital is far from home. Due to lack of money, he could not get treatment in private hospitals. Received treatment today without money, also received medicine.

55-year-old Ambia Begum of Gimadanga, who came for treatment, said that she has been suffering from various diseases for a year. The agricultural worker was unable to get treatment due to lack of money as it was difficult to support the family with her husband’s income. He is happy to get treatment and medicine here without money.
Punak president Zeeshan Mirza inaugurated the free medical camp on Monday morning. Later he laid wreaths at the tomb of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and paid deep respect to Father of the Nation and Bangama Begum Fazilatun Nesha Mujib.

Meanwhile, DIG Habibur Rahman of Dhaka Range, AIG (Media) of Police Headquarters. Kamruzzaman, Gopalganj District Superintendent of Police Ayesha Siddika and senior police officers and leaders of different levels of Punak were present.

In the inauguration ceremony, Punak president Zeeshan Mirza said, with the permission of the Prime Minister, a free medical camp has been organized in Tungipara for the second time on the occasion of Bangmata’s birthday. The team of expert doctors of 11 departments of the Central Police Hospital is providing treatment to common people, necessary medicines are also being distributed free of charge.

He said, those who are receiving treatment from this camp, if they need any tests, arrangements have been made to do them free of charge. Punak wants to do such humanitarian work in other districts with the help of various range DIGs and Superintendents of Police.

In the free medical camp, specialist doctors of various departments including medicine, orthopedics, eye, nose, ear and throat, gynecology provided medical services.
